I always find Christmas is a great time to reflect and enjoy the memories of old trips and plan new ones. A few years ago I took a trip to the Italian dolomites with my brother and a friend. The dolomites is a simply spectacular area of Italy (roughly located east of Bolzano and west of Cortina) There are a gazillion fantastic twisting mountain passes set to a backdrop of the imposing dolomite peaks.
