Rode this route last week. I have ridden routes around Valencia from this site before, and this begins the same way...quite boring roadworks infested motorway for a while. Just when I was thinking "why the hell did I decide to do this?" we exited the motorway and rode to Onda, a little better. From then on it was amazing. The ride up into the mountains was awesome, and the scenery beautiful. The road surface was fine, some loose rocks here and there, but nothing to put you on alert. After hitting the motorway again to return to Valencia, The constant line of stinking trucks and evening traffic was nothing, I was grinning from ear to ear. A couple of things, Fuel up before or in Onda, there was nothing after that for a long time. Also, eat a good breakfast and maybe even packa sandwich, because the little towns we rode through close for siesta around 1pm and we couldn't find food. It may have been there, but we could find nothing other than a cold beer! Thanks for the route dude, fun, fun day.
