The Camber rd is a local legened & only if your ride a bike on the spirited side will you really realise why!! smooth surface flowing corners!! its amazing !! down side is its too well known now so expected unmarked police bikes on hot summers days ;-(
I rode this the other day but started on the Romney Road from the A259 through Lydd on Sea, Jurys gap Road, Lydd Road through camber then camber road to the finish at East Guildeford. The roads here are amazing, lots of left / rights then a straight and some more left / rights. the corners are perfect angles, so you can get you knee then flick the bike over and surface very nice. One thing I would say is I saw 3 police cars in Lydd on sea stopping cars and this was on a wendesday afternoon and also a static mobile camera van parked up on entrance to Camber town. Luckly a motorist flashed me and my tomtom rider V2 picked it up anyway. Lovely route though
Rye to Dungeness via Camber Sands... Good fast road, especially the first half, when you get to Dungeness go to the station for a cupper...
