This is a great road if you like 'Twisties', there's about 13 miles of them, pretty much non stop. St Mawes is a big tourist destination so try to avoid during holiday times as there are only a couple of over take opportunities and you'll find the cars you do meet will probably be in a long line making it even less likely to get past. Early Sunday morning is usually ok during holiday times though. It's cornwall so be aware of tractors turning out of hidden field entrances and they often have to be on the wrong side of the road to get in or out of their fields so the rule being able to stop within your distance of view is critical. It's a rode and one that we ride at least a couple of times a month
