Initially leaving Lismore the road seems fine, just normal hum drum scenery, lush sub tropical stuff, usual farms etc. Then, as you get closer to Nimbin, and if you are extremely lucky to be travelling during daylight hours, you will notice some weird spray painted drawings on the road, and before you ask yourself \"whats that for?\" you will hit the worst potholes and sunken sections of road you ever witnessed! This road section has to be the worst I have ever come across, sections of road sunken around 5 inches, massive potholes. A local bloke called Roa Dart took to painting the hazards because the council do nothing. These paintings are life savers... once you know why they are there! check the pics. Avoid the road if you like your bum or suspension.
