Amazing road. Very isolated, so be alert and take no risks.

Have ridden this many times, it is highly recommended, ride it from both directions and you have two totally different rides.

The Gentle Annie Hill in the middle is narrow with very poor surface and steep but the rest of it is in good order and all tar seal (thats only recent in places so there are still quite a few loose stone chips)

No real worries about the police but youll be hard pressed to break the speed limit as this is a real twister.

Virtually no traffic on the Monday in February 2013 when we went but quite a few road works going on and we gather there are normally a lot of heavy trucks to be wary of.

We loved it.
