Rode down there last week.Very nice in the gorge although there did seem to be alot of dust on the road from the cement works....could be tricky when wet.

best bits as it goes thru the gorge but look out for traffic from the quarry but undoubtedly better than the A7 motorway

Superb fast(ish) road from Altea with some terrific sweeping bends. Generraly quiet early morning but thereis a strong Police presence on Sundays. The road winds through a quarry just before Gata with some very interesting (blind) bends. Overall can be quite challenging but you are rarely alone as it is a well known biking road amongst locals.
