This route is fun as long as you avoid the animals. The first time I rode this route I had a deer run out in front of my bike. Luckily I was able to avoid a crash. The corners are a blast and I have only seen 2-3 cops in the dozens of times that I have riden this road. There are some nice hills and the lake. This is one of my favorite areas around Abilene. The worst part of this route are the animals and other traffic. Beyond that, very fun short ride.
