This route, VA 311, is one of my favorite local rides. Losts of twisties going over Potts and Peters Mountains. Watch out for gravels in some of the curves. A great restaurant at Paint Bank, the Swingin Bridge.

A good, fun road which runs up and down a few hilly sections. Sometimes this section can be susceptable to flood and so the condition of the road is periodically patchy.
