stegoPossibly the most awesome bike road in the world. Going north towards Marrakesh the ascent has fast twisties with superb visibility for on-coming traffic (which was 1-2 vehicles an hour). The peak had a tired road surface for 7km but slowing down to take in the epic panorama is no hardship. The descent is mainly pretty new tarmac with good grip, level surface and the odd piece of debris to look out for. The changing scenery, the views, the people at the pit stop cafes, and the road makes this a very special place indeed. This was without doubt our favourite route in Morocco. We had the route virtually to ourselves as this as a route to Marrakesh has been made virtually redundant (although additional road improvements are due)
