From Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, go north to Beogradska Gora, a most beautiful National Park with a mountain lake. In the autumn the leaves turn many different colors and fall into the lake which is so clear the leaves form a mozaic which you can clearly see under the water. Rowing boat hire, restaurant overlooking the lake, small chalets for overnight stays. Next day travel on to Durmitor, winding roads thru mountains, very open countryside, with alot of rocks, feels like riding on the moon. Then down to Niksic, past Niksic is the Monastry of Ostrog. Ostrog is famous, it is a monastry built into the side of a cliff very high up. Then back to Podgorica.
