A nice alternative to the busy stop-n-go state highways 161 and 162 that are just west. This road winds along through the woods, rivers, and lakes. There are plenty of places to stop and enjoy the scenery or take a break. I really enjoy this road because there´s hardly any traffic and it is so rural and beautiful as compared to the boring straight highways nearby. Use caution in some of the corners because there might be some gravel. The speed limit is posted 35 mph which is kind of a bummer. It´s a great way to get to the Mountain Highway (SR 7) via Eatonville.
