Good route for top end sportsbikes, fast corners and straights - an excellent mix. Section after Caenby corner requires some respect, the chevron boards can be misleading - some corners heavily labelled and others not. Police in heavy attendance on bike nights and Cadwell race days. Also Plenty of places to stop for refuelling, both you and the bike ;-)
We ride that route lots of Saturdays to the cafe at Ludford Garden Centre. We then bolt on other bits of routes too. If anyone wants to join us check out Rotherham advanced motorcyclist we meet at Bramley Macdonalds 8.30am every Saturday. Big D
I use this route often, whether Im with freinds or by myself, I always enjoy the bends & corners it throws at you. During summer months theres usualy quite a few bikers at Willingham Wood (just through Market Rasin) every weekend & wednesday evening, where you can get a good bacon sarnie & a cuppa,(well thats my excuse for getting the bike out).
I use this route to get to Mablethorpe for Doncaster. It's a nice route with others and at a steady pace by yourself. Nice roads.
This is a great run, especially the part from Market Rasen out to Louth. Don't forget to stop in at Willingham Woods - on a Wednesday night it's full of bikers. There are a few corners that need a bit of respect, but on the whole it's a good fun run.
Great for riders on their way to and from Cadwell Park, the first section Gainsbrough to Caedby Corner, is fast along "Gainsbrough tops" into some fast good corner sections (there are some villages around so watch for Police here). Good cafe at Caenby Corner (near the little Chef). The second section, Caenby Corner to Ludford Magna is great, many flat out sections and demanding corners. Recommended but bear in mind that on days where there is an event at Cadwell, you might get additional attention from the law.
a good fast route but be aware on weds & sun for police
Some nice straight sections to get a bit of speed up, a couple of corners to keep you interested. Better suited to high power sportsbike than a small capacity machine or a trailie.
