A nice road, was quiet when I tried it yesterday, but then it is January so no tourist and few bikers. I saw not one Police car but remember, this is Wales and they are keen. Covers hills and valleys, quite nice to look at and plenty of pubs if you want to stop.
At the end of the marked route I took the A494 out as I was running out of daylight. The roads OK but frankly I didn't get any kick out of it. I will get back there when I have more time and work out a fuller route.
