The section between hwy´s 146 and 33 is especially fun now that this section was repaved in 2014. The surface is pristine at this time (May 2015). I estimate the length of this section at about 8 miles and wish it was much longer. Some of the corners are very tight and require heavy braking as you approach if you are riding aggressively. There are a few corners that are uphill sweepers where you can enjoy hard accel from the inside line. Lots of hazards though with blind driveway entrances, side roads and country drivers. A couple of sharp corners accumulate gravel/dirt that ruin the fun. This is one road where you need to ride it one direction at a reasonable speed first to see if there are any debris collections (freshly cut grass, dirt, gravel etc.) first. Then turn around and ride it backwards. If you take this road heading west, you can cross 33 and take some other backroads that are picturesque but very unsafe for spirited riding as these are narrow and road crews spread loose gravel at any time.A pretty area with pastures, ranchland, and unusual but attractive rural home estates.I ride this road very often and enjoy it every single time.
Quite good selection of sweepers and some tighter corners from time to time, pleasant road.
