Echo bay resort is closed. No food!
Very scenic and fun ride not far from LV. Can go on 1 direction thru Lake Meade Rec Area and then Valley of Fire but we doubled back to enjoy again. Nice hikes along the way so easy to spend a whole day here. Don't miss the Mouse Tank spur at the visitor center for a fun ride - lots of curves and dips. Road quality is excellent. Catch Valley of Fire at sunset if you can. $15 to enter Lake Meade rec Area, $10 for Valley of Fire.
Visiting Las Vegas? This is the loop to take the rental. This is a great run through the desert along Lake Mead. The corners are awesome and the scenery is really incredible. Stop at Echo Bay Resort for lunch then head over to the Valley of Fire State Park and bring the camera! Beautiful place. Your choice is head back the way you came or just scoot on back to Vegas down I15. I used to live in Vegas, this is a great loop for anyone.
